A Plea for Help: Spreading the Word About the Miracle Plant

In this episode of the Miracle Plant Podcast, I delve into the inspiring journey and mission behind the Miracle Plant movement. The episode begins with a heartfelt recount of a covenant made with God to heal my son, which led to the creation of the Miracle Plant movement aimed at helping other families in need. Over the past decade, we have been dedicated to reaching a billion people by 2025, despite facing significant resistance from the pharmaceutical and cannabis industries.

We welcome back my mom, Janet Benton-Gaillard, who shares her extensive experience working with children with mental handicaps, autism, and other neurological conditions. She emphasizes the transformative power of raw CBDA oil and its potential to address a range of neurological issues, including autism, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and seizures. Janet passionately discusses the challenges we face, including recent legislative hurdles in California that restrict the sale of full-spectrum CBDA oils.

Janet's frustration is palpable as she reflects on the increasing prevalence of autism and other neurological conditions in the United States. She calls for a broader dissemination of information about the benefits of CBDA and urges listeners to help spread the word. She highlights the importance of organic, raw CBDA and its superiority over processed CBD products.

We also discuss the significant pushback from the pharmaceutical industry and the FDA, which are attempting to control and limit access to effective CBDA products. Despite these challenges, we remain committed to our mission and seek support from our listeners to amplify our message.

Listeners are encouraged to visit AskJanet.org for free consultations and to share their stories. We emphasize the importance of community support and collective action to overcome the obstacles we face.

In closing, we reiterate our plea for help in spreading the message about the miracle plant and its potential to heal. We call on influential figures and the broader community to join us in our mission to reach a billion people by 2025. Together, we can heal the world.

Justin Benton:
And that was the miracle, and that was the beginning of the Miracle Plant movement, to pay it forward. I mean, I made a covenant with God to say, look, if you will help heal my son when there was no hope, then I will pay it forward. I will help the next family, which we have done for almost 10 years now. And to reach a billion people, we can't get there alone. And we can't do traditional advertising. We can't do the traditional things. We are met with resistance at every moment, whether it's the pharmaceutical industry or the cannabis industry.

Announcer: Welcome to the Miracle Plant podcast, the show that inspires, promotes, and gives you a daily dose of inspiration from the people who have used cannabis to change their lives in extraordinary ways. Here's your host, Justin Benton.

Justin Benton: Welcome back to the Miracle Plant podcast. We discussed this Miracle Plant with so many names and how it's helping people in so many extraordinary ways. Well, guess what? We've got a flashback. We've got Grace over here playing with her train and shooting the hoops, but my mom, Jana Benton Gaylord, is back in California. And she, her and I were just discussing having an impact about this Miracle Plant because as we've always talked about, and the goal is to reach one billion people by 2025. And so she is on that mission, has been here since the beginning with Shay's story, as those of you that know, and she's got something to say and what it is about reaching that billion people. Obviously, we've had many pitfalls, whether it was the FDA or the CDC and the recent emergency law that Governor Newsom passed here in California, banning full-spectrum CBDA oils like ours, but we aren't stopping. And whether it's podcasts like this If we're meeting with Robert Kennedy Jr. to talk with him now that he's gonna be overseeing the FDA and cleaning it up and the CDC and all of that good stuff and the USDA, making sure that big food isn't in control of the USDA, getting what they want for their school lunches, and making sure that the FDA isn't allowing the poisons and the pesticides into our foods and all the other things that the big pharmaceutical companies And I think that's the most important thing. I think that's the most important thing. I think that's the most important thing. I think that's the most important thing. to reach that 1 billion people by 2025, as if she was just now given a microphone. What would you say if you're in a stadium full of people that wanted to hear what you had to say to help their children be healthy?

Janet: Good morning. Justin just caught me out in the basketball court, but I'm just feeling so much frustration. As I've gotten older, I've spent a lifetime since I first, as a little kid, I always could sense people that needed help and always tried to be helping and caring and kind. And as a professional, I started out working with mentally handicapped children, some severe, some in between, emotionally disturbed children, and spent many years doing that, including having one of my people I worked with, a lady with Down syndrome, come and live with me. And then we moved on to autism as a focus when my grandson was identified. And so I totally came out here and moved into the direct teaching. And I'd worked with autism before, so I knew a lot of methods. And then I'm also an integrative nutritionist, a certified health coach. And so I used all those skills for healing and also, you know, direct teaching. And then the CBD we were reading about and Justin found where it helped with seizures. And I said, well, autism is also brain dysfunction or brain damage, basically. And so then, as a group, we came up with a product and improved it over the years. And I do free sessions with anybody at AskJanet.org. And I have a lot of weekly calls also and trying to get the word out. And it's very rewarding, the people that I can help, but it's a very limited group. And we were talking recently, a good friend of the family here had passed away, and they were talking about things said at her funeral and things she'd accomplished. And I thought, well, I still have not accomplished my main goal of finding something to get out universally to people that helps. And especially my focus has always been on children. And in this country, we have a massive increase in autism. When I started as a psychologist, I think it was like 1 out of 175 kids, and now it's down to 1 out of 30, and I think it's actually higher than that, because their rates just come from looking at certain 8-year-olds in certain parts of the country, so it's an estimate. But like when I was a kid going to school, nobody had any signs of autism. And I didn't really run into it until, gosh, probably the 80s, I think, before I ever saw anybody with it. And it was rare, and now it's just everywhere. And it's been normalized, like, oh, that's what happens to some kids. And then some people have a cause like, it's great to be autistic. And my thing is, you have a choice. And I believe we have solutions and people should have those solutions to share and decide, do I want to take this path? I know it works for people, or do I want to continue doing what I'm doing and having the problems I'm having? Another huge cause I have is this massive increase in Alzheimer's and dementia going on in our country. And again, too, that is in essence brain damage. And the CBD works with that, and there's research on it. And there's proven research on CBD-A, and A means it's raw. And just like anything, we always use the analogy of orange juice. So CBDA, the raw CBDA, is like fresh squeezed organic orange juice. And then you move on to Tang, and in between you might have a juice box or something. But every bit of processing removes benefits. And as a nutritionist forever, it's so obvious to me that we have the solution for so many of the things we have as a country that keep increasing. And again, trying to get that word out. And my basic recommendations are always stop poisoning yourself, go organic. Start using some juicing because often our digestive systems are worn out or not functioning because of our ultra processed diets. And so juice so that's readily available to your body. And then the last one, again, is just add in some CBDA. And it goes to every cell in our body. And people don't realize that we even have an endocannabinoid system, larger than some of the other systems in our body, that affects every cell and every reaction we have in our body, and has receptors just waiting for the CBDA. Our bodies make cannabinoids themselves, called endocannabinoids. And then the phyto cannabinoids or plant cannabinoids like CBDA from hemp literally match or the cannabinoids our body produces. And so it goes right into our body and our body knows exactly what to do with it. And it fills a huge need, especially for anything neurological period. I'm used to dictating with a period. And so you have all these different issues that are all related to neurological damage. And to me, it's autism and then Alzheimer's and dementia, and also Parkinson's and seizures. It's just so clear to me that we have an answer. And as usual, we live in one of the freest countries on earth, but we still have these limits. And so we've been so excited to have our company functioning. And now here in California, the governor assigned a bill that you can't have CBD-A even if the trace of THC. And the only way to do that is to heat it. And then you again, too, you've taken away the benefits. CBD-A that's raw and organic is 10 to 100 to 1,000 times more powerful than some cheap CBD only. And so if you see anything without an A, it means it's been processed and heated to the point that it's destroyed the major cannabinoid, which is the CBD-A. So anyway, I just, as I've gotten older, it's just gotten more and more frustrating to think, well, maybe the next thing will work. Or maybe if I say it just this way, people will listen. And in America, too, I'm again fighting against, I'm sorry, the pharmaceutical industry, the FDA, which both are going after, CBDA, because it works. And we have so many people we work with that are on, I've had people up to 28 medications. And after taking it for a while, then suddenly they decrease slowly their medications and end up medication-free and symptom-free. And so we see it over and over and over. But to get that word out beyond just our small group or talking to one person at a time is not getting the message out. And again, now we're getting so much pushback against it when people realize how effective it is. And look on PubMed. The research is there. It's been approved. It's online and peer-reviewed. But again, too, we're still just talking to a small minority of often desperate people or desperate parents. So I ask any of you who are listening, what are your ideas to get this message out? And I just need to find a way to increase that. We have this goal of reaching 25 billion or million. by 2025, which we started like 10 years ago. And we had such hope and we've seen such progress. And now I feel that we've just been totally stymied in every direction that we're going. So I will not give up and our company will not give up and the people who know how this solution works, we'll not give up. But I'm just asking, I cry for help or whatever. How do we get the word out? How can we help? And we need to move forward. And so anyway, thank you for listening to my unplanned rant today and God bless.

Justin Benton: There you have it. Well, and if you wanna meet with my mom, as many of you have over the years, we have a free consultation, which sometimes I wonder if we should just charge $997 so people would, They say that people that pay attention, that pay, pay attention. And right now it's still free. And you can go to www.askjanet.org. And she does Zoom calls once a week. You can hop on Zoom or hop on the phone or whatever works best for you. And if you feel compelled to share your story, you can even have it recorded there and we can play it here on the podcast as well. So again, obviously we have found the miracle that we were looking for, for my son. to help clear his brain and fog from a severe autism diagnosis through this miracle plant, through juicing, through food is our medicine, through plant-based medicine. And that was the miracle. And that was the beginning of the miracle plant movement to pay it forward. We are met with resistance at every moment, whether it's the pharmaceutical industry or the cannabis industry that are not allowing our products to be sold in Retail stores in California, that's where we're at. So we're asking for a plea of help. Where do we go from here? We need your help. And what does help look like? Help looks like forwarding this message, forwarding this podcast. It's a link, forward this link. Do you know somebody that could help? Do you know somebody that could use our help for the podcast? Can you take three minutes and review this? review this podcast and say what this plant has done for you. That's how you can help. I know, and I know we're all busy and I know we all have things to do in our lives, but we need your help. And they're trying to silence this message. You know, Big Pharma wants this product, this CBD to be sold for $32,500 a year. under the drug company GW Pharma had made a product called Epidiolex, which costs $32,500 a year for some isolated white powder pill that's, you know, a fraction of the effectiveness of whole plant raw cannabis, whole plant raw CBD oil that we make. And yeah, so that's the fight that we're up against. So, you know, we're here to fight, but as you can tell, it's desperate times. So we're asking for your help. Um, you know, I haven't been doing as many of these podcasts as I used to do. Um, just because I don't know if, if it's making an impact and I have to spend my hours too. I have family and you know, I have responsibilities and, and I need to spend my time wisely making an impact and whether that's driving up and down the 101 highway, like I used to do and meeting with doctors and chiropractors and pain specialists, which I still do, then I'll do that. So we just need, we need some help. We were asking for your help. So however you can help, you can talk to my mom on askjanet.org. You can send me an email. You can give us a call. Email's jbenton at 101cbd.org. Phone number's 805-642-5623. If you feel called to help, help. And even if you're just calling to tell us to root us on or shoot us an email or share your story, all of those things add up because we're at a crossroads here. And it's good versus evil. And in order for the light to outshine the darkness, we have to come together and support each other. So that's what we're asking for. So on the count of three, we say, Heal the World. That is the message to reach 1 billion people by 2025 about the power of this miracle plant, especially in the raw form of CBDA. So on the count of three, let's say, Heal the World. So those out there that can hear this message, who can help amplify this message, and whether that's Robert Kennedy Jr., whether it's Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, I don't know, whoever it is, that can help amplify this message to their audience, to their followers, you know, whether it's getting on in the Good Morning America, you know, we had this incredible moment obviously with Paige Fiege and her daughter Charlotte Fiege, which started this whole CBD movement, especially for helping children with epilepsy and seizures. So we need another one. And we lost Charlotte Fiege, unfortunately, a few years back. And we lost the godfather of medicine, cannabinoid medicine, Dr. Raphael Meshulam, a few years back. So we need support. We need help. There's billions of people that would benefit from using this plant. Everyone would benefit. Eight billion of us on this planet, understanding the power, the true power of this miracle plant in the raw form. We should be eating it every day. Just as we think of celery or kale, which actually have cannabinoids in them, we should be thinking of this miracle plant in the same vein, if not a higher vein, because it truly is the superfood of superfoods. So anyways, on the count of three, let's say heal the world and get out there and do it. Ready? Here we go. One, two, three. Heal the world! Thanks for stringing by the Miracle Plant Podcast, everybody. Be a blessing and happy healing!
