Justin Benton: [00:00:00] Welcome back to the Miracle Plant Podcast, where we discussed this miracle plant with so many names and how it's toughed people in so many extraordinary ways. Well, guess what? I just got back from the most life changing event, uh, that I can recall. Other than outside of, you know, maybe marrying my wife and having my children.
But, uh, it's Funnel Hacking Live 2022 out of Orlando, Florida. And, uh, just an amazing, an amazing experience. Uh, the last episode, we actually had the kickoff presentation that you can listen to where, uh, Russell Brunson talks. Uh, all the work we've been doing with the Napoleon Hill Foundation and how we actually got the actual typewriter from Napoleon Hill who wrote Think and Grow Rich, which was sold over hundreds of millions of copies and the actual manuscript from the, uh, Outwitting the Devil, which we're in, uh, we're working with Napoleon Hill Foundation and we're gonna be doing some very, [00:01:00] very, very cool things, uh, in the near future with that book.
Um, and, and that manuscript as well as other books and other. Um, which you're yet to come. I can't tell you too much cuz the ink is not dried, uh, on the, uh, contracts and all that good stuff. But, uh, some really, really cool things, uh, and I'm just so blessed to be a part of, uh, making it all happen. And, uh, you know, sharing these principles, these 17 principles, Napoleon Hill found by interviewing over 500 of the wealthiest and most successful people in the world because Andrew Carnegie challenged him to do it.
So that's what Napoleon Hill did. He dropped out of Georgetown Law School where he was going with his brother and interviewed, um, these, uh, successful entrepreneurs for five, uh, uh, for 10 years. Over 500 of them. And that was the genesis of the book. Think and Grow Rich. And there's a special story in there about his son, Blair, uh, who was born without any ears.
Uh, nothing. No ear [00:02:00] lobes, no, uh, any, any inner ear. Um, nothing was there when he was born, but Napoleon was committed that one day his son would hear. Everyone thought it was crazy. All the doctors, uh, friends, family, uh, there's just, there was no. And so, uh, Napoleon never gave up. And after about 20 years, um, he came across the scientist who had just put together, uh, a new, um, technology and reached out to Napoleon and said, Would it be okay if, if they tried this, this surgery, And technology.
And lo and behold, after 20 years, uh, his son heard again for the very first time. And that's, you know, it's a, it's a, it's very powerful. It, that chapter is in the book Thinking Grow Rich. When I read it, I was weeping life a baby, uh, you know, to, cuz it relates so much to our journey with my son and, uh, you know, staying committed to the course, not listening to the so-called experts, but knowing that I was [00:03:00] gonna have my son heal, healed, and healthy.
So he could live his best life. And uh, that was one of the things that that drew me to that book that drew me to working so much with the Napoleon Hill Foundation. Uh, and again, Russell Brunson is putting together a library in Boise, Idaho that I've been helping him stock the library. We always kind of kid operation stock the library.
And so I've been doing a lot of that behind the scenes. And, uh, if you were listening to the opening present, Uh, on the previous episode, you would hear, uh, him go into greater detail, uh, about all of those cool things. And another reason that I wanted to talk to you today is that we made a crazy special offer, um, just for what in that community of Click Funnels is called Funnel Hack, Funnel Hackers.

You look at the Amazons of the world, they were already popular.
But once Covid hit, uh, the, the, the, the amount of people that shopped online primarily doubled, tripled, and even quadrupled. And so now you really have to make sure that you are selling your products or your services or your goods online. People need to be able to find you online and Russell, but Brunson's the best on the planet at it.
Everybody knows he's the king of, of sales funnels. Uh, and, and a sales funnel basically means when you drive someone to a landing, That you, um, get their [00:05:00] email address and you build your list. So the bigger list that you have, the more that you can continue to grow that list, uh, the more revenue that will come from it when you follow up with that, uh, with that list.
And so when I, you know, decided to go all in with Russell Brunson and his community and his teaching and his mentor, uh, ship that, uh, that's really what, uh, that I've been doing, uh, ever since Covid happened. You know, we're almost going on three years. And so at Funnel Hacking Live, he holds an event every year.
And, uh, last year I did a podcast on it from Funnel Hacking Live. Uh, this year I'm doing a podcast after I got back.
