[00:00:00] Welcome back to the Miracle Plant Podcast. We discussed this miracle plant with so many names and how it's helping people in so many extraordinary ways. Well, today we have a very special guest all the way from Brazil and the Brazilians Boy do they love us in our podcast.

Uh, we've been working, uh, in that country for quite a long time with the This Miracle Plant. But today, and I'm gonna do my best with the pronunciation, Mayra Suza joins us from down there and she is another healer on the path, but she's doing it through sounds and through acoustics and just amazing work.

And, uh, I wanted to welcome Mayra to the Miracle Plant Podcast. How are you? Hey Justin. I'm doing great. How are you? Great, thanks for asking. And also, my mom, Janet Benton Gaylor, the head of research and development for the Miracle Plant is on as well. How you doing there, mom? Doing great. Always excited to learn something.

Absolutely. Well, it's all about healing [00:01:00] and, and there are many holistic ways to heal, and that's why we're having my era on. So Myra, tell us a little bit about your journey and tell us all about this, this, uh, this sound healing, these and, and what you do. Yes, absolutely. So, uh, just summarizing everything, the whole, uh, healing journey started for me with my own healing as it usually goes.

Uh, I came from a place in Brazil where I came from a lot of abuses and a pretty rough childhood. It got me into alcohol very early. Uh, in my teen years, I was already pretty dependent on alcohol and. Big part of my life for many, many years until about my mid twenties, almost 30 years old, and I started researching to change lifestyle to get out of alcohol because my father passed away at 37 from a heart attack, and he was an alcoholic.

So when I was getting close to, excuse me. When I was getting close to the thirties house, I started becoming very scared about the, the history, you [00:02:00] know, in my family with alcohol, with, you know, heart condition. And I started researching. I came across a variety of different types of meditation, which I was bringing everything into my life to be able to change the lifestyle and get rid of the alcohol.

And this is one of the methods that I came across, and I used it for my own healing. Using sound and meditation to be able to change lifestyle and, and shift this mentality of dependency on the substance to be able to feel fine. And through my own healing people, we started asking, you know, what? What was I doing?

I started eating better, lost weight. Everything changed. I was calmer, my skin cleared up. Everything started changing for the. So I started assisting other people as well and decided to get certified in this specific method. It's called biofield tuning. We tune the electromagnetic field around our bodies.

So I used, um, tuning forks, just like the tuning forks that people use to tune instruments. [00:03:00] I use it to pretty much tune the body back into harmony, back into its natural rhythm. So we release the stress and the tension that is accumulated. System from everyday life, from trauma, from a variety of different ways that we accumulate tension and stress.

And so once we work on the, on the field and we release that stress from the system, everything comes back into balance. We, we go back to functioning in our natural rhythms. So his lip cycle gets improvement. Um, digestive system, like I said, the skin, you know, your, uh, your relationship to the world to food.

So people that need to lose weight, they lose weight naturally. So everything starts happening more naturally and everything starts coming back into balance in a natural way. If that makes. I love it. That sounds amazing. Um, what, uh, so how do you know which tuning forks? Is it, uh, is there like a, is there just a standard protocol for everybody or is there [00:04:00] kind of like a, a reading the room where, you know where to start with which forks?

Mm-hmm. That's actually a great question because we have a variety of different, uh, forks that they, they are all. Uh, designed with a different frequency and every single session is very different. Every single session from one person to another. And even my regulars, I have regulars that, that we do sessions weekly, and we laugh about this because every session at the end of the session, we are laughing like, wow, who would, I would've thought we were going to work on this today?

It's like every, there's no session that is similar to the other. There is. Standard kind of a protocol that we follow on the beginning to kind of, uh, initiate the session and then we just let the session flow. So we read, like you said, you, we read the body, what, what, what is the response that the body is giving throughout the session?

We also read the room, see what's going on. There's a variety of different [00:05:00] ways that the system uses to. That stress and that tension. A lot of people, uh, a very common way is e yawning because e yawning, you are stretching out all the muscles on your neck and your shoulders, and it's an area that's very common to restore stress.

You can see when the person is very stressed, they tend to have their shoulders pretty high. And when they get to relax, like by the end of the session for instance, they notice that, that their shoulders are lower. Like they're, they're more relaxed with their back, with their neck. So there's a lot of yawning that's very common in session that stretch those muscles.

And it's like the system knows how to self-regulate and that's what it's doing. For some people, if they are releasing stuff that's related to trauma, for instance, they might. You know, stuff that was stuck that they couldn't cry back then when the trauma happened for what, whatever reason they couldn't, um, process the trauma.

And there's emotion is stuck in, in the system somehow from something that has happened and. When I say [00:06:00] trauma, it's not only the big tea, you know, big stuff that might have happened back then. Even like when you're a kid and you fall from your bike, you know, if the shock in your system, it's kind of intense and, and you get very scared, like, like the frightened response and it gets kind of frozen in the system that.

Comes with you throughout life, and as an adult it can interfere on our behavior. You know, we might be fearful of some things that make no sense, and it might be coming from that frozen response that got stuck in the system and for whatever reason we weren't able to process and release it and discharge it.

So in session that stuff is discharged and in a variety of different ways. We work out in the field with some of the forks we work out in the field, and there's the sound that come to the. And we also have forks that we place directly on the body and they vibrate very intensely and that vibration gets into the body and usually the client feels that vibration last [00:07:00] throughout the session.

It's very interesting. Sometimes even after the session, they say, I still feel my body's all tingly and I can feel the, the vibration traveling through my body. And what we say is, In session, we are pretty much initiating the process of that discharging for, for that the system will do. But then afterwards, the, the next few days, the system is still self-regulating.

So you might notice that you might be tired, you know, the, the next couple of days or super thirsty, whatever the system needs. It's gonna ask from you if it needs hydration. You're gonna feel super thirsty if it needs a lot of rest because it takes a lot of energy from the system to self-regulate.

Finally, especially old stuff that's been sitting there for some time, it takes a lot of energy, so it might get you very tired. It's because your system needs. The rest, and so it's gonna ask for whatever you need. Some people get kind of overly emotional. It's because there's so many emotions that have been stored and non not [00:08:00] processed for so long.

The system needs those emotions to pass through you to move out so that you can have that, you know, that flow, that nice balanced flow in life rather than moving around kind of heavy.

Love it. Love it. And I had one more question. I'm sure my mom has one. Um, we both got the Chatty Cathy feature when we were born. Uh, but, uh, my question would be, uh, is this thing that someone has to do in person with you or can you do it over a zoom? Can you do it over technology or a case course or a YouTube video?

Yeah. That, that's the phenomenal part of it. So the, my teacher, Eileen Macu. She did this process for, I don't know, 10, 15 years, only in person. And people will start, you know, like requesting, like, I wanna do it, but she is out in Vermont. And people were like, but I'm in California. And you know, it's very, and then she, she, a friend of hers, actually, I think he's a professor in a, in a [00:09:00] college in California.

He said to her, let's try, we have nothing to lose and see what happens. And it was, They did it at the distance. They weren't even on the phone or anything. He just knew at the time that she was going to do it. And because of the intention and the connection that we all have with each other and all of that, she did it and wrote notes, and then they called each other after the session, they called each other and it was like right there.

And then, you know, in about. This many minutes. She felt this. He felt that it was the same thing, like the session was perfect. He felt the whole session, energy moving through his body and everything, and then he felt more relaxed, lighter, all the things that people usually feel. So she started investigating into doing it at a distance, and she discovered a lot of science that backs up the whole process.

So now it's a very common thing. So much so that I'm spending some time in Brazil and my clients in the us, in Europe, all over the place. I'm still doing them through Zoom and we don't even need the camera. We need the. [00:10:00] Sound that, you know, we, we get from Zoom on the, on the musician setting and they listen to the whole thing and they feel the energy moving through their bodies.

They feel the benefits, they feel everything. It's like, it's just like doing a session in person. It's, it's tremendous. It's, the more I do these sessions guys, the more I fall in love with it. It's, it's absolutely beautiful. I think sounds wonderful. I know in any modality of healing, we always strive to have balance or homeostasis.

Mm-hmm. And so I've used screenworks for interesting things, but not this. Um, my one question is how do you set up an appointment and then what links can we use to, uh, contact you or. I, I can use to recommend. Yeah. Yeah. So on my website, I have links to everything, the social media, you can contact me through there.

I have a bunch of information. I have free sessions, I have recorded sessions because it's the same thing as the sessions at a distance. You listen to the recorded session and [00:11:00] the session is recorded with the intention of whomever comes across this session in the future to receive that healing. And you.

Yeah, my clients love the recorded sessions cuz it's a resource that they have it they can download and then they have it whenever they need it. They just go and listen to it and get all of that discharge, all of that deep, deep, profound relaxation to their system. So I have all of that on the website. I have even a free session for you to try it out first time if you don't wanna commit to sessions one-on-one.

I'm definitely going to try it and I'm also gonna try it just with the sound and then adding in our magical hemp C B D A, the raw organic type. So I'm thinking you'd have less really strong emotions or. Feel traumatized or [00:12:00] whatever by it. Anyway, so I check out new modalities, so I'm very excited. Uh, and I must say I've not come across this before and like in yoga we make no, you know, sounds and things like that, or meditation. Mm-hmm. But to take it to this level you have is fascinating and I can't wait to try it.

Yeah, go ahead and try it, and then maybe we can do another one. Talking about your experience. I can't. That sounds fantastic. Yeah, let's do it. Absolutely. And then we have, we have beach yoga where we have like a sounding bull, Laura Singer who works with us. Um-huh. So we've, we've had some experience to that, but I've never, not to this level.

And, uh, I definitely want to, um, One thing I wanted to ask you is, what's this musician setting on, uh, zoom. Gimme a break. I'm, I'm scrolling through my settings. Did, did you know how to set that up? I did. I, I don't know if I'm gonna remember right on this spot now to tell you, but I can send you maybe a screenshot or something afterwards.

You just go to the sound. And you go to, to your whole account, [00:13:00] you know, um, it's called original sound for musicians. And then when you turn that on it, it doesn't cut the background sound and then you can hear the sound from the musician. Musician, just like you can hear from the tuning forks all the way through.

It doesn't cut as background noise. That's awesome. Well, I'm, I'm messing with it on my phone, so it's probably something I need to log into on a computer, so, but that's, you do, I learned something new about Zoom, so, well, that's wonderful. There you go.
