[00:00:00] welcome back to the Miracle Plant Podcast, where we discussed this miracle plant with so many names and how we're helping people in so many extraordinary ways. Well, today we have a very special, fun guest with ya, all the way from upstate New York, which our co-host and producer Dan Hummus, it's from Buffalo and the Greatest Bill's, biggest Bills fan on the planet.

They didn't win this time, but. There's always next year. That's the great thing about football. But Kelly Kane, welcome to the Miracle Plant Podcast. I know you've got some amazing healing stories and journeys to share with us. Welcome to the show. How you doing today? I am doing great. Thank you so much for having me on.

I really appreciate it. Absolutely. Well, as you know, and we talked before we went live. It's all about this mission for us to reach 1 billion people by 2025, about their healing and their healing journey about this miracle plant. But we have, there's so much more to healing. Uh, there are different pillars and things of that nature.

So please share your story, your healing journey, and what you're up to these days. Uh, I would love to, you know, my whole journey and the purpose of this as well as [00:01:00] healing myself is to get the message out there, um, how to help others and get them to heal as well. So, just really briefly, the traumas that I went through.

From 2014 to just about a few months ago, um, I would sit by a drunk driver. I had a brain injury. I had to recover from that. And when I did recover from that, I had dying parents at the same time, who passed away 36 hours apart. Um, in June 20 14th and June 16th, 2020, during the pandemic, which had its own.

Complexities, uh, as well as teaching during a pandemic kindergarten students online learning, like college students and just learning the whole modalities of having to, you know, teach them virtually was, uh, It's just eye awakening in its itself. And then after that, getting a divorce and moving outta my home and moving forward.

So I would say I am a very good candidate on how to maneuver the feelings of [00:02:00] depression and finding your happiness again. And partly I've done that through homeopathic ways. And spiritual ways of healing. And it does relate to the Miracle Plant because when I was doing my neurofeedback as part of my brain injury recovery, uh, you lose a lot of sleep and there's a lot of sleep aids that you roll through trying to get sleep.

And the one that worked the most effective recently is CBD oil or CBD gummies. I did better with the gummies than I did with the oils. Well, that's amazing. What, uh, so tell us some of the, some of the, the healing, uh, you know, modalities and, and things that, that work so well for you that you are now paying it forward and, and helping others with those.

You know, I can't, so I cannot discredit western medicine. It's absolutely needed. You know, I, I had the MRIs and the. The physical therapy and [00:03:00] the heavy hitting pain killing drugs, I am not shy to share that. I was put on Percocet and Xanax and Flexeril and Naproxen, and the list goes on. I was on all of these rotating drugs, really keeping track of them hour by hour because I'm a small person.

Uh, it was quite scary, but it was needed at the time. So, of course, At some point in time I needed to get off of them. And that was when I was turning to spirituality. Uh, started to learn reiki and trained in that and became a reiki master. So I'm a kindergarten reading specialist, right? I'm not out in the world running around and doing reiki.

I would love to, but I'm not doing that right now. But I will do it with friends and family, but I did it for myself. Because I truly believe the essence of meditating, and you can actually do this reiki on yourself and incorporate it into your healing. So I was seeing a [00:04:00] homeopath. I was getting off of those heavy-hitting drugs.

I was seeing the physical therapist. I had a psychologist, the neuropsychologist, the homeopath, a massage therapist. I, I had it all. And then I had a shaman and I've been studying my shaman for eight and a half years. She's now one of my best friends, which led me into having a home network of medium best friends and just becoming completely spiritual and having, I was always spiritually gifted, but definitely hit my spiritual awakening, but, Uh, my eyes are open.

It's just so open on the way of healing. It's not one path, one way doesn't work. Diligence is, you know, the key word here and whatever works for you individually. So I cannot discredit having all of that western medicine in the front. But I benefited by leaning into my spirituality, going through the Reiki training, and now I can [00:05:00] turn around and because I've studied all of these things, share that information with others.

So that's wonderful. My goal. Well, that's wonderful. And, and how would, how are you, uh, planning or have you already planned, how are you, how can people gain from this information? Is there a book that's coming? Is there a, a website? Is there, uh, what, what's the, the best way for people to, to learn from all that you've been through?

That is a great question. I have been asked that question in the last two years. I have been planning to write a book about all of this. For a long time, but of course, you know, these are traumatic events and because I had so many traumas piled on top of each other, it was actually quite difficult to start writing and reflect back because as soon as I finish writing one trauma and episode, I'm already in tears and I have to go into recovery mode for myself again.

I have worked on a project. I do have something completed. But what I started doing before [00:06:00] I, uh, had the courage to finish this project, which is in limbo, I'm being very vague on purpose. If you go to my Instagram, which is angel teacher, a n g e l, underscore, t c h r, an angel teacher, I have 3,800 something posts.

I started that journey two years ago. I think it was right after my parents died, uh, 36 hours apart. And you know, I post things about my job being playful and I've actually posted some really heart ripping stories where when I watch myself back sharing, you know, that trauma, that specific trauma, I tear up again.

So if people go to that site, they will definitely see the journey that I've been through for the last two years. And yeah, even. A stranger would be proud. Absolutely. Well, well, I've been, uh, taught that it's best for us to share our [00:07:00] scars, but not our open wounds because we still have to get through those, those open wounds to really come through the other side because it can be so.

Difficult on us individually, even though we want to help and we want to teach. But they always say teach, teach about the scars, not about the open wound. So a little, uh, piece of advice that I've heard, I've learned, uh, along my journey and I know what I definitely want to make sure that we do for you is, uh, we'll get your mailing address.

And we'll send you, uh, our chill X CBD a oil, which is so much different than CBD oil because it's, I love that's so pressed and whole plant and holistic and basically they always say if you want to get high, you can heat it. But if you wanna get healthy, you should eat it. And that's what this plant has been proven.

It's true. Yeah. And it's also backed up by science, which some people need science. I just need to know what works for me or my children or my family or loved ones. But wolf, make sure we send you some of that chill X because it's got that organic passion flour and that whole plant squeezed hemp, [00:08:00] uh, what is called C D A oil.

So we definitely look forward to hearing how that helps with your sleep and find that homeostasis and balance. And we actually have free yoga sessions. And meditation's on the beach twice a week out here in California and you show up and we give you the CBD I a oil, so you can totally get into that zen and centered place out there as well.

So that's, uh, that's absolutely amazing. Well, tell us more. What, what is your message? What do you wanna share with our audience? You know, the message is that, you know, when we are going through traumas, it's really, really difficult and. I just, I love sharing that there's no one way or right way to do this.

You know, the things that I had written about in my project, and I'm gonna come back to what you talked about, which was so true. Not sharing too early, which is why it took me eight and a half years to be able to step forward and share. Mind you, I've already been on this journey for two years just to get [00:09:00] to this point and have this conversation with you.

Right. So it really is about timing. There's no way I would've been in a place previously to share those wounds, as you say. Right. They're open wounds. They, I was not ready to chat about them. So I'm at a place now where it's a scar, it's comfortable, I can share it, and it's just, it's the teacher in me. I really, you know, I, and I've openly talked with about, My project with my neuropsychologist and my psychologist.

How amazing. Right? I'm still in communication with these people, so I haven't talked to my neuropsychologist in six years, and he did take a peek at the project and he said, you really, Kelly, you need to finish this. You need, you need to finish this project. People need the inside point of view of what you went through and.

I couldn't share it for a long time because, you know, people don't like to share the dark, deep, scary secrets, you know, depression, it's [00:10:00] almost like taboo. You're not supposed to talk about it. But of course, with all the traumas that I was going through, depression was absolutely at the forefront. How could it not be?

Listen to all the traumas, and they weren't one after another. Some, sometimes they were right together. So, Uh, it's really important that I waited all this time to share. Now that I'm here, I feel okay and, and I'm all right with making a mistake. I'm okay with fumbling the bag and saying, okay, everybody don't do that.

I did that. That's not good. So I definitely share all of the secrets. Of what it looked like. And yeah, that was a very big healing journey. It's a really big healing piece. I'm just, I'm super proud of myself. I hope this comes out so everybody can see it. Absolutely. Well, for some whatever reason, what I'm feeling, my vibe, and it could be the next project, but I had to throw it out there for you, obviously as a, you know, teaching school kids that they're.

Seems like a, a children's book [00:11:00] somewhere in the works there. So just, just throwing that up. Oh my gosh, that is amazing. You know, I, I have my eye on the prize that I just finished. You know, I was so focused on that and it's brilliant because, yeah, I've been a reading specialist for 20 years and I've been a kindergarten reading specialist for six years, specifically five, six years, and yeah.

Oh my gosh. I absolutely could. That's interesting. You know, the brain injury that I had, I actually taught students, well, I, I do. Teach students who have special needs, but I have specifically worked with students who had brain injuries before I even encountered one. And when my father was ill, he also got a brain injury from a fall that he had from a diabetic shock coma that he had.

Like he just collapsed down, he hit his head and he also got a brain injury. So I am extremely well versed in recovery of head injuries. Yeah, I mean, I lost peach. [00:12:00] I lost handwriting. I couldn't walk, uh, I couldn't count and do something at the same time. There was no multitasking. I couldn't understand when someone was telling a joke.

I really went just, I was de mentally disabled for over a year and a half. I could not teach for almost two years. Well, and the other thing about, I mean, that's what Ha led US Miracle Plant to was my son with his severe diagnosis that was late onset of severe autism, which was neurological. This Miracle Plant helped with the detoxification and the, uh, inflammation in the brain.

Also, it, it's a neurore regenerative. So it repairs and replaces and fixes nerves, whether those are brain and your neurotransmitters or actually nerves in your ankles or feet or back where you have an injury. So that's the, that's another miracle that we see, whether it's Alzheimer's or Parkinson's or traumatic brain injuries or epilepsy.

Mm-hmm. We've seen people use a whole plant juicing eating, which is just what our products are. Cold pressed and seen miracles. So I can't wait for you to try it, not only for the sleep. [00:13:00] But if there's any lagging or any brain fog or anything that's not quite clicking, right, this miracle plant sets our brains up for homeostasis and true balance, just like when we were completely healthy and young, like those, those kids that you're teaching.

So I'm excited to hear your feedback on that as well. I would love to give it, and it's funny as you're talking, you know, I'm replaying things in my head and you know, although you can hear that I've. Gotten my speech back and I'm obviously on my feet. That took a long journey of healing. I had 14 specialists that I was working with all this time, so I really put in the work.

You know, neurofeedback was 45 appointments. My psychologist has been, it just hasn't ended. Still feel 'em for maintenance. And you know, even with the shaman we counted and it was over 37 sessions, and they're not just one hour sessions. Anybody who goes to a shamanic healing or clearing, you know how long they are.

So the, it's just a lot of energy put into healing. And yes, the brain injury I've healed mostly, [00:14:00] but there are right times where it. Will inflame and my right eye will water, and that's my key indicator to say, uhoh, hey, you know, it's like having a broken leg or knee. When it's cold, it hurts and you're aware of it.

It reminds you, Hey, maybe you wanna take it slow today, but with a brain injury, you don't really get that warning. Maybe you'll start stuttering or you just don't feel right, or maybe you become moody. Or for me, my right eye will start watering and I'll say Uhoh. Okay? That's my body's way of saying, Hey, we're.

We're kind of kicking up trauma mode a little more, and then I will have to pay attention and take some additional care. So I'm kind of curious about what you're talking about because, well, when I, yeah, yeah, go ahead. No, well, when I was hit it was 2014. So, yeah. And I mean, and again, at the end of the day, who doesn't need balance in homeostasis in their life, especially, you know, once you cross the, the 30, 35, 40 range.

And all things start to slow down to some degree. [00:15:00] And so we always want to keep that, keep our, you know, our mental state sharpness and our physical state and all that. And we truly are, you know, you are what you eat and food is our medicine. So everything that you eats, either helping you or hurting you.

Is the way that we look at it. So, and look, moderation for everything. You go your whole life and you never have any dessert. Like there's people on the Titanic that didn't have dessert. That sucks, right? You still need to, that you need to make sure that you're enjoying your life, but at the same time, you also need to make sure that you're, uh, without your health, regardless of anything else that you do, it just doesn't add up.

Health is the foundation for joy and happiness, and, and I'm so glad that you found it, so that's wonderful. So at the end of every Miracle Plant podcast, we say Heal the world cuz that is our mission. And obviously you've gone on your healing journey and you're here to share with our audience and others and maybe, uh, a children's book in the future.

But on the counter, please, I love that idea. Say Heal the world cuz that is the mission to reach a billion people by 2025 and talking and collaborating with, uh, wonderful folks like yourself. So on the count [00:16:00] of three, you listening at home. Whether you're at home or you're at the gym or wherever you are, say heal the world with us.

Cuz the world needs healing now more than ever. And whether they find that, feel that vibration or they get this podcast forwarded to them, uh, it's all about healing the world. So on the count of three, we're gonna say heal the world one. Two, three.

I said it before you. I was excited. Yes. No, it's perfect. Well, thanks everybody for joining us at the Miracle Plant Podcast. Be sure to tune in rate review, pass us along to someone that maybe when you heard this had touched your heart and you're like, no, they should really listen to this, forward the podcast onto them, and I'm sure they'd love to appreciate that as well.

So everybody, be a blessing and we'll see you next time. Happy healing.
